Sourced from 0.5 hectares of vineyard characterised by a combination of clay soil above limestone subsoil. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it was hand-picked on the 19th September and goes through stringent selective sorting followed by delicate pressing. Fermentation is in temperature-controlled vats followed by ageing on less for four weeks to give extra depth and texture. Only 2000 bottles produced, we continue to practice sustainable viticulture. The 2016 vintage was successful after a hot and dry summer in Bordeaux. Healthy, ripe fruit produced wines with density, ripeness, soft tannins and a refreshingly clean finish.
